Having spent many years at Bosch, I was well-versed in the nuances of HR in a large setting. When the opportunity to join ITK Spain presented itself, it was a chance to apply everything I had learned
in my career in human resources so far in a new context.
When I joined ITK, we were just a very small team, which meant we had to establish all HR processes from scratch – from onboarding and policies to training opportunities and team events. Every day brought its challenges, but seeing the progress and growth firsthand has been immensely rewarding and wouldn’t have been possible without the amazing team we’ve built over the years.
Being a part of ITK has not only offered me the chance to influence HR practices but also to actively shape a diverse and inclusive workforce. In this evolving tech industry, we bring together people from various generations and backgrounds, each with their own values. Managing such diversity requires an attentive approach. Even seemingly insignificant elements, like the phrasing of a job advertisement, can influence who feels drawn to join us. Recognizing and valuing these differences is crucial because in the end, we are one team.
I work with people, not machines.
Recognizing and meeting diverse needs is what makes us a great team.
The warmth and cultural richness that I experience at ITK Spain are just as vibrant as the Spanish way of life itself. Spain’s unique blend of climate, history, art, and nature always stands out. It simply makes me feel at home.
ITK Spain does not only align with my professional interests but also embraces the local culture. One of my most cherished memories with the team is our paella cooking event. It’s more than just a meal; it’s a celebration of our shared passion for the Spanish way of life. Just like the various ingredients come together to create a flavorful dish, our team collaborates and combines talents to create something amazing.
