ISO/PAS 8800:2024 is the latest standard addressing the safety and reliability of AI systems in series production road vehicles. Dr. Stefan Held is a specialist in AI and our contact person at ITK for topics related to AI, classical signal and image processing, and sensor technology. He joined ITK in 2013 after completing his PhD in mathematical image processing.
Currently, he is primarily focused on Generative and Reliable AI as well as related topics such as MLOps, Foundation Models, and Data Governance. He does not keep his knowledge to himself, but also teaches courses at the Technical University of Munich.
Dr. Ulrich Sutter
Dr. Ulrich Sutter has been a group leader in Functional Safety for 7 years and brings over 20 years of experience in the automotive sector. After studying physics, he earned his PhD in mechanical engineering on the topic of piezoceramics. As a Safety Auditor and Safety Assessor, he is a recognized expert in his field. Currently, he is intensively engaged with the topics of Safety and Artificial Intelligence and actively contributed to the review process for the creation of ISO PAS 8800 two years ago.
