Description
CONTROL SYSTEMS DESIGN – Advanced 2
Discrete-Time Systems is an advanced course that conveys an understanding of how to implement components presented in our Basic and State-Space seminars. It also points out the pitfalls you can expect to encounter.
This seminar focuses on transferring continuous-time controllers to systems with a fixed sampling rate. It familiarizes you with discrete-time systems’ terminology so provide the tools you need to program a controller with the difference equation method. The course also discusses how to transfer state-space systems – that is, state controllers and state observers – to implement a state controller.
Your benefit
The knowledge imparted is aimed at being able to implement corresponding functions not only in a model-based manner, but also in a high-level language such as “C/C++”.
Target group
This training caters to development engineers, mathematicians and researchers who last performed control engineering tasks at university and now wish to refresh their skills.
Requirements
You will perform many exercises with Matlab and Simulink so a basic grasp of these tools is required.
Participants and duration
1 day / lecture, discussion and exercises / hands-on work on a laptop / 5 to 8 participants
Price on demand.
